Do you have faith in miracles? Are you anticipating a miraculous event to transform your life? Or perhaps you aspire to carry out a miracle yourself?
In a genuine sense, you possess the ability to generate miracles each day of your existence. However, you must first grasp the deep significance of what a miracle truly represents.
A miracle is an unexpected occurrence that cannot be accounted for by natural or scientific principles. Consequently, it is often attributed to divine intervention.
Typically, a miracle is considered a sacred phenomenon, evidence of a higher power's existence.
Motivated by his quest to understand miraculous stories, Morgan Freeman inquired of a Buddhist monk whether he performed miracles. The monk's reply caught Freeman off guard, as he had never viewed miracles in that light. The monk listed the following as the world's true miracles:
Healing
Love
Reconciliation
The monk clarified that hovering a few inches above the ground during meditation is not what humanity truly requires.
Above all, healing, love, and reconciliation are the genuine miracles that can reshape the human psyche. If we persist in waiting for miracles to occur rather than actively creating them, we are fundamentally missing the point.
Perhaps this is the primary cause of the world's suffering: we fail to act according to the abilities we have been given. Regardless of our beliefs, we all have the capacity to perform miracles every single day if we dedicate our thoughts and efforts to it.
As Morgan Freeman expressed, “… We are capable of achieving far more than we think we can… To believe in miracles is to acknowledge that life holds more than what is visible. To accept that there is a force that connects and unites us all.”
