There’s no denying that dresses paired with boots are a match made in heaven. This autumn, I plan to refresh my wardrobe with several daring new picks in both categories.
Because I usually keep accessories and outerwear in neutral shades, printed dresses are always high on my fall shopping list. I love how they disrupt the predictability of solid outfits—especially when I go for tonal looks. Bold patterns consistently inject a striking element into any ensemble, transitioning seamlessly from day to night. For prints this season, my advice is to opt for something darker and more intense—think caramel, rich brown, black, deep navy, and burgundy—colors that complement autumn’s essential palette.
Another key piece I’m adding is slouchy knee-high boots. This style is incredibly versatile—it pairs just as well with skirts and dresses as it does with skinny jeans, or even with this season’s trendy high-waisted, ultra-baggy denim if you’re feeling adventurous. Truly, these boots are the one silhouette you’ll wear constantly; they can elevate or casualize an outfit depending on styling, and they look fantastic with any coat, especially midi-length versions. Bold, beautiful, and chic—in my view, they’re an essential purchase this season.
