Even though the ceremony isn't happening for another four months, we at the Who What Wear office are already completely hooked on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming marriage. As the most significant royal wedding since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge exchanged vows, it's easy to understand our excitement. Catherine's Alexander McQueen lace gown kept us fashion-obsessed for a while, but that was nearly seven years ago, so you'll forgive us for eagerly speculating about Meghan's wardrobe choices too. Yet her dress isn't the only thing we're dying to know—we're also curious about the guest list, the royal customs they'll observe, and, naturally, what Kate will be wearing.

Although the exact date hasn't been announced, the wedding will take place in May 2018 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. Apparently, both Harry and Meghan adore this location, which is why they selected it.
Let's face it—this event could be incredibly star-studded. Thanks to Meghan's role on Suits, we might not only see the show's cast and crew but also other A-list celebrities. Rumors even suggest the Obamas might attend, given that both Harry and William share a strong bond with the former U.S. president and first lady.

While Kate and William rarely hold hands in public, Harry and Meghan frequently do. This isn't about royal protocol but rather each couple's personal preference. Still, it's uncommon to see a royal pair so openly affectionate. So far, they're breaking with tradition. However, the wedding itself could be steeped in customs. For instance, the groom is expected to wear a military uniform. Other traditions include the royal family sitting on the right side of the church and not wearing wedding bands. Oh, and there will be two cakes. That alone makes us want an invitation.
In a March 2016 interview with Glamour about the wedding dress for her Suits character Rachel Zane, the soon-to-be royal was asked about her dream wedding gown. “I have the luxury of wearing beautiful pieces of clothing every day for work, so my personal style—wedding or not—is very pared down and relaxed,” she shared. “Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist. I personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic. Delphine Manivet and Christos Costarellos are faves of mine for their uniqueness and beauty. And I will always be a fan of Ellie Saab. J. Mendel is spectacular as well, especially for more structural designs.”
