The Today show co-anchor is putting on a southern drawl for her newest gig.
She takes on the role of Mrs. Sweetums in a guest spot on Disney Junior's animated series Mickey and the Roadster Racers.
In behind-the-scenes footage of her recording session, Kotb explains, "Mrs. Sweetums has that southern charm because she's pure sugar-sweet."
"She owns a charming candy store bursting with vibrant aromas and sugary treats, and she's such a kind-hearted soul who adores everyone," the 53-year-old mother of 10-month-old Haley Joy shares.

Although plenty of the journalist's followers may be thrilled to catch her vocal contribution to their kids' beloved program, Kotb insists the privilege is entirely hers.
"I was raised on Mickey and the crew, so stepping into the recording booth and lending my voice to the group… Minnie, Daisy, and yours truly—hi!" she exclaims. "Joining that legendary lineup, even in the smallest way, is absolutely something I'll treasure!"
The episode titled "Super Sweet Helpers" debuts Monday on Disney Channel.
