Chloe Kardashian reveals how to achieve celebrity-style makeup in just 15 minutes, tailored for busy mothers. Over the course of her career—she's not just a reality TV star but also a thriving businesswoman and author—her beauty habits have evolved. Now at 35, she admits that becoming a mom has dramatically transformed her perspective on beauty.
First, she has trimmed her beauty regimen down to the bare essentials—which might seem minimal to others, but for her it's still substantial. Second, she came to terms with aging and developed a passion for facial and body oils, applying them nightly. Third, she stopped using any liquid makeup products altogether, because she is the primary caregiver for her child. While applying makeup, her one-year-old daughter Tru is always on the move, ready to demand her mother's attention at any moment.
In a Vogue video, Chloe explained, "Ever since I became a mom, I've had to master doing my makeup fast and avoid heavy liquids. If I use them and then have to chase after Tru, my makeup gets all messed up and I end up looking blotchy."
These days, Chloe's morning skincare routine starts with cleansing and toning. She applies a mattifying toner containing hazel extract—specifically Quinn’s Alcohol Free Witch Hazel Rose Petal and Aloe Vera Natural Toner—followed by a generous layer of EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 sunscreen on her face, neck, and chest, since those areas show signs of aging most quickly.
Once that quick prep is done, she moves on to her standard daytime makeup application.
Chloe Kardashian’s 15-Minute Daytime Makeup Guide
Step 1 – Hydrate and Prime
Chloe likes highly pigmented foundations, but she dilutes them with her go-to hydrating mousse cream. She blends Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream with Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick.
The youngest Kardashian sister remarked, "This is how I make my own BB cream—it feels completely weightless on the skin."
This technique also saves time: there's no need to let moisturizer sink in before laboriously blending foundation. Mixing them together makes blending effortless and yields a more natural finish. Since Chloe 'bakes' her makeup, this step is crucial.
Step 2 – Concealing Dark Circles and Blemishes
Chloe sees a dermatologist regularly, so she rarely has breakouts. Her main concern is uneven pigmentation. She uses KKW Beauty Liquid Concealer—a shade lighter than her foundation—to create an even skin tone. Typically, she dabs it under her eyes, around the nose, on the center of her forehead and the bridge of her nose, as well as just below the corners of her lips where she has darker skin. Then she blends everything with a damp sponge.
Step 3 – Setting and Baking
Not sure how to bake? Chloe Kardashian can show you how. She takes Kylie Cosmetics Translucent Loose Setting Powder and applies a thick layer with the same damp sponge onto all the spots where she placed concealer. Next, using a fluffy brush, she dusts more powder over the rest of her face. Then, with that same brush, she blends the powder in her T-zone and on her nose, but leaves the product under her eyes untouched. That's what creates the 'baked' effect.
Chloe employs this method because she's frequently photographed and wants flawless skin in every shot. In the video, the reality star notes that this makeup can appear heavy in person, but it photographs perfectly. Therefore, unless cameras are constantly on you like a celebrity, we advise against using this technique for everyday wear.
Step 4 – Sculpting the Face
Chloe says she picked up contouring from Kim, and it's surprisingly straightforward. Simply pick up a bit of dry contour powder (or bronzer) on a brush, then sweep it along your forehead and temples, down to your cheekbones, and along your jawline—like tracing the number 3. She also contours her nose using the lightest contour shade from the MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Sculpt and Shape Contour Palette in Light/Medium.
Step 5 – Eyes
For her daytime look, Chloe avoids bright eyeshadows entirely. She also skips false lashes for everyday wear, reserving them for red carpet events.
She uses light brown shadows from the Kylie Cosmetics Koko Palette to define her crease, then applies red-brown shadow to create soft, feathered wings on the upper lash line. She also lines her lower lash line. Chloe explains that she's fond of reddish tones because they make her green eyes stand out more.
On the mobile lid and inner corners, Kardashian adds a shimmery pink-gold shade from the same palette, which helps make her eyes appear larger.
The final step is curling her lashes and applying Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara. Chloe always uses two coats, as her natural lashes are long but not dense. This quickly gives her a faux-lash effect.
Once her eyes are done, Kardashian brushes away the powder that was sitting under her eyes. If any eyeshadow fell onto her cheeks, she simply sweeps it off with the powder brush, keeping her foundation intact. That's the beauty of baking.

Step 6 – Brows
Chloe's brows are naturally thick, so she only fills in sparse areas using a Kylie Cosmetics eyebrow pencil and then sets them with the brand's brow gel.
She commented, "I've never had thin, over-plucked brows. I guess I learned from my sisters' mistakes."
Step 7 – Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter
Even after contouring, Chloe's daytime look isn't complete without bronzer, blush, and highlighter. She dusts Tom Ford Soleil Glow Bronzer onto her cheekbones and forehead, adds Kylie Cosmetics blush to the apples of her cheeks, and sweeps highlighter over the highest points of her cheekbones.
Step 8 – Lips
For her daytime lips, Chloe lines them with KKW Beauty Peach Crème Lip Liner and applies Kylie Cosmetics Koko Collection Liquid Lipstick in the shade 'Allergic To Bullsh*t.' To give her lips extra fullness, she adds a shimmering gloss to the center.
