Once a month, we sift through the top-notch blog articles and Instagram posts created by our Lonely Planet Pathfinders network.
For this edition, we're showcasing a clip crafted by Oksana and Max from Drink Tea & Travel, who managed to condense their gruelling ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro into a punchy, thrilling four-minute film.
'Tackling Mt Kilimanjaro was hands down the most intense mental and physical feat we've ever faced while travelling. This footage offers a window into our expedition to the Roof of Africa, and we hope it nudges you to slot this remarkable adventure onto your own travel wish list!'

The video showcases breathtaking scenes of the diverse terrain they crossed alongside close-up portraits of the warm people they encountered during the trek, and honestly, it's got us already sketching out plans for our next mountain expedition. We were equally impressed by the smart integration of time-lapse sequences and the attention to finer moments, which together convey a real feeling of the journey's passage.
A heartfelt shout-out to every Pathfinder who contributed video entries this month. We were genuinely thrilled by the vlogs sent in by Westfalia Digital Nomads, who have been making their way across France and continuing on into Spain. We can't wait to discover all the incredible escapades you've managed to film this month!
