The process is thrilling, and I’m eager to share the final results soon! For now, let me point you toward Soane Britain, a maker of exquisite furniture, upholstery, lighting, fabrics, and wallpapers. Their designs draw heavily from historical motifs and classical artifacts, and each item is crafted in Britain by small, specialized workshops—experts in rattan chair weaving, saddlery, and iron forging. Remarkably, they operate the last remaining rattan weaving facility in the entire UK! I’m utterly captivated by the Venus chair upholstered in velvet, the ceiling lights adorned with charming rattan shades, and the strikingly unique rippled rattan console table. Simply stunning and endlessly inspiring.
