The elderly gamer has amassed a substantial collection of video games at home.
At age 90, she now holds the title of the world's oldest video game player, having begun her gaming journey nearly four decades ago after observing the joy her children experienced while playing.
Hamako Mori, who lives in Tokyo, Japan, has been officially named the oldest gamer by the Guinness Book of Records. She is 90 years old and has been playing video games for 39 years.
Mori's first exposure to video games came through the Cassette Vision system, released in 1981. Later, she transitioned to the Famicom console, enjoying titles such as 'The Legend of Zelda' and 'Dragon Quest'.
She credits her children for introducing her to gaming.
Mori admitted that when she first started, she played terribly. She acknowledged that while playing is fun, losing is unpleasant, and she lost frequently.
Today, she dedicates between seven and eight hours daily to gaming.

Earlier, a gamer was reported to have lost a pound and started helping people. An Englishman weighing over 200 kilograms was predicted to die before age 35 due to obesity.
Additionally, Japan has introduced a bed designed specifically for gamers. The package includes shelves, stands, pajamas, and a hat, with the full set costing $1,000.
