As winter fades and spring arrives, the reliable trench coat takes center stage. A well-made trench is both classic and enduring.
It’s been fantastic here in New York City—a balmy 50°F! Practically summer. With the rising temperatures, we’ve swapped our heavy teddy coats for lighter outerwear. I’ve owned this trench for over a year, and it felt wonderful to bring it out again. Featuring a draped collar, double-breasted silhouette, and antique-inspired buttons on an asymmetric front, this coat is a classic with a modern edge. If you enjoy updated classics, I also love this Jonathan Simkhai trench (currently 50% off with an asymmetric handkerchief hem) and this ASOS double-breasted version (long, sleek, and under $100).
Colin and I have been working on a special project, so we were on the go all day. This outfit kept me warm and polished for our meetings, and my bag served as a mobile office. From my laptop to the camera to all our paperwork, everything fit inside. I hope you enjoy this all-beige look—happy Friday! Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful weekend!
