… as revealed in his latest conversation with Jimmy Kimmel

Discussing Kim Kardashian’s trip to the White House to request clemency for a 63-year-old woman imprisoned for drug possession, Kimmel asked West, “Did you ever worry about her being by herself in the Oval Office with President Trump?”
West immediately chuckles, then responds with a broad grin, “Well, he’s a player.”
Labeling predatory behavior as simply being a “player” is deeply problematic. For one, it suggests there’s a certain glamour attached to being aggressive—and even abusive—toward women. It conflates men who are socially comfortable around women with those who exploit and mistreat them. It trivializes sexual assault by equating it with something a charming guy might just do. And it reinforces the notion that a “player” can get away with anything, including grabbing women “by the p***y.” This is exactly how toxic masculinity takes hold and spreads. Unsurprisingly, later in the same interview, West admits that having daughters hasn’t altered his perspective on women. Sadly, it won’t shape how his son views them either.
