In individuals with mild COVID-19 symptoms, molecules found in coconut oil have been shown to cut the virus's presence in the bloodstream by 60 to 90 percent. Researchers from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development conducted a study confirming coconut oil's effectiveness in treating coronavirus patients, as reported by the International Business Times on Monday, October 19.

The research highlights that virgin coconut oil not only eliminates the virus but also strengthens the immune system to combat the illness. Specifically, it enhances the survival of bodily cells. For those with mild cases, the oil's molecules can lower viral levels in the blood by 60 to 90 percent. The trial involved 56 participants, none of whom experienced severe disease.
