Bold claims are nothing new for this brand! This time around, they promise a 108% boost in lash thickness and a 507% increase in volume. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure what distinguishes the two metrics. Setting that aside—since it's hard to picture without imagining some monstrous lashes—Volume 2 is a significant improvement over the original Volume 1. It's puzzling that Charlotte Tilbury's mascara range isn't more extensive.
I'm typically not a fan of chunky mascara wands, but this one is just the right size—offering good maneuverability during application and easily reaching under the lashes for an upward sweep. A couple of coats deliver an intensely black, voluminous lash fringe, so the promises of 'more' ring true. Even better, the formula remains flexible, allowing additional coats—as many as you desire—to glide on smoothly. I'll definitely be reaching for this mascara. While I appreciate defined lashes, this full, rock-chick look is incredibly flattering, transforming small lashes into dramatic ones. It costs £25 and is available HERE.
