The Detroit rapper is preparing for a major debut week.
Eminem is aiming for the top spot on the Billboard 200 next week with his newest project, Revival. The album, which includes collaborations with Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Pink, and Ed Sheeran, is projected to sell 280-300,000 equivalent album units in its first seven days, according to HITS Daily Double. Within that total, 190-210,000 are traditional sales, with the remainder coming from streaming.
In contrast, Eminem's prior album, 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, moving over 792,000 copies during its initial week.
G-Eazy is anticipated to secure the week's second-largest debut with his double album The Beautiful & Damned, which is tracking to shift 135-155,000 copies (85-95,000 traditional). His last effort, 2015's When It's Dark Out, sold 135,000 copies in its first week.
One year after dropping Trap or Die 3, Jeezy is gearing up to impact the charts with his eighth album, Pressure. The Snowman's latest is expected to move 55-65,000 equivalent album units (35-40,000 traditional).
N.E.R.D. will make a comeback on the charts with their first album in seven years, No_One Ever Really Dies. This star-studded set, featuring Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and André 3000, is expected to sell 16-21,000 copies in its debut week (9-12,000 traditional).
Final chart figures are scheduled to be released next weekend.
