Khloé Kardashian simply cannot catch a break. Her fear of gaining weight drove her to maintain P90X routines well into her second trimester. In the Kardashian world, stepping into the territory of obesity is synonymous with sinking into depression, isolation, and money troubles—just look at Rob. However, as is often the case, women were quick to flood the internet with their agitated, estrogen-fueled opinions on Khloé’s high-intensity cardiovascular sessions. They didn’t hesitate to offer unsolicited advice, even accusing her of neglecting her unborn child. The only time a Kardashian puts children first is when they are kneeling for career advancement opportunities—an act that doesn’t exactly result in pregnancy, though baby wipes do come into play. Fortunately, Khloé clapped back at those bored women hunting for reasons to be outraged online. She even shared an article from fitpregnancy.com to back up her claims. Bazinga—she certainly silenced the critics.
Women bickering on the internet about proper conduct and self-management is hardly a novelty. Third-wave feminism essentially found its start on Tumblr. I hope the infighting among women will eventually stop, as a divided house is bound to crumble. But that insight probably came from a white male, and lately, the world has placed them on an enemy watchlist. So that statement is void and can be dismissed as harmful patriarchal propaganda designed to sow discord. Keep the pregnancy-shaming going, ladies.
