Following the release of his Dedication 6 mixtape on Christmas, Lil Wayne returns with a new track alongside Drake. Set to the beat of JAY-Z and Beyoncé's 'Family Feud' (produced by No I.D.), Drake delivers verses touching on Diddy, Colin Kaepernick, Lil Wayne, Trump, and Meek Mill.
He raps about having Super Bowl aspirations, being at home with Diddy who has Kaepernick on the line, and operating in a completely different mindset. He adds a line about an 'angel head' and being up at 2 a.m. for Jay-Z.
Drake questions whether TD Bank would approve loans, considering covering what Universal Music owes to Wayne. He argues that his friend has spent a career earning platinum and gold records and deserves half the label, calling the situation chaotic. Then he calls out Apple Music's Larry Jackson, demanding that someone contact him, insisting he needs equity if they're pressing gold records. With his business thriving, he wants a piece of the Apple (Music) like Adam and Eve.
He also extends an olive branch to longtime rival Meek Mill, wanting his money as long as a verse from 'A Milli' or as lengthy as a sentence handed down by a Philadelphia judge. He questions the purpose of all the feuding when they are essentially family.
However, he makes clear this isn't just about making peace—he's still delivering verbal attacks, and that could resume if someone tries to prove something.
This 'Family Feud' collaboration will be featured on the second part of Dedication 6, titled D6: Reloaded.
