Best Man Crashes His Best Friend's Wedding Photo Session As The Ultimate 'Third Wheel' And The Shots Are Pure Gold

When couples exchange wedding vows, their single pals often find themselves navigating unfamiliar territory — and the results can be wonderfully awkward and funny.

Best Man Crashes His Best Friend's Wedding Photo Session As The Ultimate 'Third Wheel' And The Shots Are Pure Gold

Saying "I do" marks the beginning of a whole new adventure for newlyweds, and that shift often requires friends and relatives to recalibrate how they fit into the relationship. For some of the closest companions, though, this adjustment can feel like an impossible task — particularly for unattached best buddies who suddenly find themselves swimming in romance. Determined to keep things light, Brittney and Kody Frysinger asked Kody's longtime pal and Best Man, Mitch Jolliff, to tag along for their engagement and wedding photo sessions. The resulting pictures are so outrageously funny that you'll genuinely wish you'd scored an invitation to the big day.

The unforgettable "third wheel" snapshots came courtesy of Lindsey Berger, the talent behind Country Roads Photography. "My idea was to do a follow-up series showing how Mitch was coping with the wedding madness!" Berger shared with A Plus. "I pitched the concept to the couple, and Mitch absolutely ran with it. He elevated my vision beyond anything I could've dreamed up, and I'm incredibly thankful for that!"

Even though Jolliff appears moody and grumpy in the frames, Berger insists the atmosphere on set was nothing but joy and laughter. "This group is an absolute blast to work with — they were willing to try absolutely everything I threw at them. Those are the dream clients: folks who don't take themselves too seriously and genuinely know how to enjoy the moment."

Brittney and Kody Frysinger tied the knot in Findlay, Ohio. Their sweet yet comedic "third wheel" portraits have racked up more than 150,000 shares across Facebook, and we hope their happily ever after lasts a lifetime!
