According to The Hill, on that Thursday, Sanders conducted a press conference specifically for the kids of White House reporters. One brave youngster asked why President Trump dismissed former FBI director James Comey.

Sanders offered a family-friendly reply, stating that Comey "did some things that weren't very nice, which is why the president let him go."
