Chocolate-covered strawberries are a timeless favorite. Is there anything not to adore? They add an elegant touch to any gathering, and surprisingly, they're incredibly simple to prepare. That's why I find myself making them time and again.

I always choose the freshest, sweetest, most succulent strawberries for this recipe. The quality of the fruit truly elevates the final treat.

For a small batch, melting the chocolate in the microwave or on the stovetop works perfectly. However, when preparing a large amount, a fondue pot is a lifesaver. It keeps the chocolate at an ideal consistency for dipping, so you don't have to keep reheating it.

It's a total game-changer for someone who dips chocolate as often as I do!

Here is my go-to recipe for chocolate-covered strawberries. I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe

These chocolate-dipped strawberries are a simple yet sophisticated dessert for any occasion. Follow this straightforward recipe to create them in your own kitchen.

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Thoroughly pat the strawberries dry with paper towels so the chocolate sticks properly.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave at 50% power for 2 minutes, then stir until completely smooth. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating it nearly up to the stem. Transfer each dipped strawberry to the prepared baking sheet. Freeze for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 days, or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.

When making a large batch, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in an electric fondue pot, stirring until smooth. Maintain the chocolate at a warm temperature while dipping all the strawberries. Then follow the same storage instructions.
