Clarins' Spring White Flowers Collection: A Trusted Beauty Favorite

Clarins White Flowers Collection

When spring rolls around, the Clarins White Flowers collection is one of the most dependable launches on the beauty calendar. Every year, we’re treated to trio sets adorned with lovely illustrations and even more delightful scents. I must admit, this particular edition might be my favorite yet. There’s a hand cream trio (£25) packed with shea butter—truly nourishing for hands and nails—and a body lotion trio (£30) that lives up to Clarins’ reputation. Their body creams deliver exactly what you’d expect: they leave skin feeling soft and supple, thanks to shea, oat extract, and olive oil extracts. These are positioned as luxury products, and they certainly deliver on that promise.

The fragrances on offer are Neroli, Magnolia, and Jasmine, and I have to say the Jasmine scent is particularly addictive! I keep the hand cream by my laptop and find myself pausing to inhale its aroma repeatedly. Neroli is bright and citrusy, while Magnolia is pleasant but a bit too generic for my taste. Jasmine, however, is smooth and powerful upon application without being overwhelming in longevity. You get a satisfying initial burst that then softens, so it doesn’t overpower you or clash with your perfume.

Alongside the hand and body items, there are two highlighting products with similarly charming illustrations—these are more about subtle radiance than high-beam shimmer. The Natural Light Perfector for Lips (£18) combines gold pearl with a pale pink tint and looks gorgeous. I also like the Catch’Light Face Stick (£19) for quick on-the-go illumination, though I feel it’s more suited to summer or holidays when you want to give your shins and shoulders a quick gleam.

I’d wholeheartedly recommend the hand and body creams—they’re clearly aimed at Mother’s Day gifting, but if you need a treat for yourself, go for it! I wish they’d include small candles in these sets; I think I’d prefer two body or hand creams plus one candle, especially since the scents are so beautiful. They haven’t quite launched online yet, so keep an eye out!
