Shopping for the ideal pair of jeans is rarely a straightforward task.

After polling 30 women through Facebook, WhatsApp, and email, these jeans emerged as the top pick. It's no surprise: they feature a flattering high waist, stretchy fabric that accommodates various body types, and come in an array of colors. The Jamie jeans from Topshop have long been a go-to for fashion enthusiasts, and the brand keeps refining them with each new season. Who What Wear’s deputy editor, Emma Spedding, is a fan of these Weekday jeans. “They’re a solid straight-leg style that pairs well with everything. Even though I ordered them online, the fit was spot-on. Plus, all Weekday jeans are sustainable, which is a big plus.”

Personally, I’m a huge fan of Zara’s jeans, and our Who What Wear readers on Instagram agree. I own a pair of straight-leg, step-hem jeans that I wear almost daily. They’re not only comfortable but also look fantastic with every shoe I own. Since Zara’s inventory changes frequently, that exact pair is no longer available, but I’ve added these to my wishlist.
