Halcyon House Revisited
Once again, we're drawn to Australia's Halcyon House—it's simply too beautiful to ignore. Honestly, can you imagine more inspiring interiors? This place ranks among my all-time favorites and served as the muse for our recently refreshed guest room (full reveal coming shortly!). In case you've forgotten, Halcyon House began as a 1960s surf motel set along the stunning Cabarita Beach in New South Wales. In 2015, interior designer Anna Spiro teamed up with owners Elisha and Siobhan Bickle to reinvent it as a vibrant, eclectic haven. Only the building's exterior features white walls—inside, every inch bursts with color and pattern. Whenever I need a nudge to embrace a daring design choice, I find myself flipping through photos of Halcyon House.
