Give Your Home a Fresh Start

Commit to transforming your living space into a welcoming sanctuary this year. Discover simple upgrades and bold accents that make a big impact.

Give Your Home a Fresh Start

If there’s just one resolution you keep this year, let it be the promise to turn your home into a place you genuinely look forward to returning to. Feeling unsure about where to start? That’s where Laurel & Wolf steps in. We focus on making home transformations effortless, enjoyable, and budget-friendly. To spark your creativity, we teamed up with one of our favorite designers, Gwendolyn Gibbish, to demonstrate how small touches and fresh statement items can dramatically rejuvenate a room.

As you can see, we began with a fairly neutral foundation. Our goal was to keep the cream-colored tufted sofa, so that piece became the anchor for our living room redesign.

We chose a pink-and-green color palette, tying the shades together with a vibrant patterned rug. To add texture to the sofa, we introduced boho-inspired printed cushions.

Houseplants offer a fast, straightforward way to infuse energy into any room. We’re particularly fond of this faux fiddle-leaf fig tree. The secret is in the word “faux”: no watering means you can travel without stressing about returning to a wilted plant.

When selecting coffee table decor, it’s smart to judge a book by its cover. Pick a few volumes that are meaningful to you and will help inject vitality into your surroundings.

Display artwork that reflects your identity and tastes. Experiment with mixing paintings and photographs that showcase your curatorial flair. Our revamped room feels bright, open, and brimming with character drawn from our journeys and thrift finds. Mission accomplished!
