Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara
For those who adore a thick brush and dense lashes, this is your lucky break. Maybelline’s newest mascara combines a plush wand with coconut extract. Personally, I find a touch of coconut oil delightful in many contexts, but it won’t dramatically alter your mascara experience. It's marketed as a conditioning ingredient, yet modern mascaras already include lash-nourishing components (castor oil, for instance), and coconut oil appears fairly low on the ingredient list, indicating a minimal concentration. That said, I observed my lashes remained relatively flexible while wearing the mascara, so the coconut might soften the formula itself—though likely not the lashes directly.
Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara struggles with separation due to its oversized brush, but it deposits a generous amount of product onto each lash—after application, I noticed definite lengthening and added volume. If you own a spoolie, you may want to run it through your lashes between coats for better separation; however, if you prefer a bold, dramatic lash, this is a solid purchase at £8.99, especially since it’s currently offered as a buy-one-get-half-price deal HERE. Those with naturally long lashes will benefit more than individuals with short, fine lashes, which thick brushes struggle to coat evenly. Strangely, it’s not clearly labeled as waterproof, but I had no trouble removing it, so I suspect it isn’t.
