Most baking competitions focus on flawless results. Viewers admire skilled bakers transforming basic components into stunning creations through mixing, folding, and sculpting. We often wonder how wonderful it would be to enjoy such treats, let alone produce them ourselves. Of course it would. Perhaps someday we'll all reach that culinary prowess. Until then, Netflix introduces a baking program that prioritizes chaos over achievement. Nailed It celebrates the inner failure everyone has.
Debuting on March 9, the series adopts a typical game show structure with a unique spin. Here, perfection takes a backseat to accepting errors. Have you ever attempted to duplicate an immaculate Pinterest (or Food52!) cake only to end up with a lopsided result? If so, Nailed It is your show. View the trailer:
The show is hosted by comedian Nicole Byer and chocolatier Jacques Torres, with a different guest judge appearing each episode. Spanning six episodes, the entire season will drop at once on the popular streaming platform. The tone is playful and quirky, which promises to be highly entertaining. Am I planning to watch? Absolutely.
