Scott Baio finds himself in increasingly serious trouble this week as Nicole Eggert's accusations of sexual assault from her time on Charles In Charge gain further support from additional witnesses, and law enforcement has now entered the picture.
Eggert is currently at the Los Angeles Police Department to submit a formal complaint against Baio, following the emergence of six new witnesses who back her allegations of molestation that occurred on the set of the sitcom when she was a teen and Baio was in his mid-twenties.

The actress, now 46, hopes Baio will confess and take responsibility for the actions she accuses him of. With police now investigating and additional witnesses stepping forward to support her story, the situation appears increasingly grim for Scott.
Specifically, Eggert publicly addressed Baio, urging him to admit to his past wrongdoings for the sake of his daughter (see below):
Wow…
Baio persistently denies every accusation and has been active on Twitter discussing the matter since the allegations surfaced over a week ago.
Nevertheless, with police involvement, the stakes have escalated far beyond social media. If the reported five to six on-set witnesses remain steadfast in supporting her claims, the outlook for Baio is bleak.

Regardless of public opinion, the legal system will handle this case, which is likely preferable—more effective and ultimately fairer than a social media trial.
Yet still… unbelievable!!!
