A Burst of Hue: Discovering Roeqiya Fris
Lately, I've found myself aching for more vivid color in my daily routine. It probably stems from the buzz building around summer and my deep longing to finally set foot in India. That's precisely why the artwork of Dutch-Egyptian creative Roeqiya Fris instantly pulled me in. Drawing from Arab traditions, far-flung journeys, and the natural world, her striking compositions burst with rich pigment, daring pattern play, and an unapologetic celebration of feminine power. I'd happily have Roeqiya create a custom piece for me... though I'm guessing a trip to India might be in order first.
