Picture the typical scene of a frantic customer losing their composure at the pharmacy counter. Most of us have witnessed it, but rarely does it involve a celebrity or an attractive woman. Sarah Hyland was particularly agitated after her disappointing experience with CVS. The pharmacy neglected to fill her antibiotic prescription before shutting down for the evening. I'm more surprised it wasn't a prescription for something to calm her sense of entitlement. One Xanax and this whole drama could have been avoided. She turned to Twitter to voice her grievance against the pharmaceutical giant. The angry posts from her verified account drew the corporation's attention. They issued a public apology for the error, following standard procedure, but privately informed her that she was foolish to rely on information from a third-party app.
I prefer not to embarrass myself, so I always double-check before making assumptions. I realize it's an old-fashioned method, but large corporations still operate phone lines. A simple phone call to verify closing hours could have prevented Sarah's humiliation. She might have benefited from a brain transplant as well as her kidney.
