Okay, this episode runs a bit long! We're gradually feeling a little less awkward in front of the lens. There's still a massive gap before we'll remember to hit record during actual activities [rather than just while cruising down the road] or capture those spontaneous, exciting, and ordinary moments. Yet I believe each blog will improve and grow more meaningful. I hope these vlogs have been entertaining so far! Tons of viewers have asked things like "you two must already be experts to begin a vlog… how did you figure it out?" Absolutely not — that's the farthest thing from true. Jose picked up a camera and we simply began filming… end of story. We had zero clue what we were getting into, and it's only been a handful of weeks, but I think that's exactly how things get done… you simply dive in. Don't hold off until you're a master, until you're at the top, because if I used that standard on myself I'd never get going. My self-confidence is pretty shaky and I'm my harshest judge… so I just have to take a risk and commit. Filming vlogs has pushed us WAY beyond our usual limits since we're both pretty reserved people.. but the experience has been a blast.
This past week the vlog featured some antique hunting, plenty of meals, holiday gatherings, & sadly my folks pulled a prank on me involving one of my presents that I'm not certain I've emotionally bounced back from yet…. enjoy!
