Describing the recent weather in Los Angeles as merely "meh" would be an understatement! It has been cold and rainy—I honestly can't recall the last time the sun made an appearance. The one bright spot in this gloomy stretch has been adding a few new coats to my collection, and the chocolate brown Mango masterpiece I'm wearing in today's outfit is, without a doubt, my current favorite. Beyond my general weakness for beige or brown outerwear, this piece is both cozy and sufficiently long, giving the sensation of being wrapped in a soft blanket while still exuding sophistication and grace.
While I adore how this coat pairs with anything beige or neutral (the other day, I styled it with this sweater and these trousers), for today's look, I combined it with several other recent obsessions. My new black Levi's skinnies—a perfect pair of high-waisted black jeans is tough to track down, but these fit flawlessly—a deep V-neck oversized sweater (another Mango find), and my Ray-Ban sunglasses!
