Week 1's Most In-Demand Phones: The Top 10

As the calendar turned to a new year, the Xiaomi Mi A1 continues to lead our trending smartphone rankings, marking its fourth consecutive week at number one.

Claiming the runner-up position is the yet-unreleased Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Earlier speculation suggested this model might never launch, but fresh reports this week indicated it's still in development, propelling it onto the podium.

The Nokia 6 (2018) officially hit the market and vaulted directly into third place, pushing the Galaxy J7 Pro off the podium.

The Oppo F5, which dominated the chart for two months straight, has now slipped to fifth place. It sits ahead of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and the Samsung Galaxy Note8.

Securing eighth place, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 brings the Chinese manufacturer's total to four devices within the top 10. The final two slots are occupied by a pair of Korean handsets: the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy S8 made the list, while the Huawei Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7X, and Redmi 4 all dropped off.
