Women-Focused Highlights: March 2–8, 2018 / Bust

This week’s women-focused lineup features the comeback of Jessica Jones (starring BUST’s current cover subject Krysten Ritter!), the Academy Awards, and fresh tracks from the Breeders. Red Sparrow

Jennifer Lawrence plays a Russian spy in this thriller helmed by Francis Lawrence. (We haven’t screened it, but reviews mention multiple graphic depictions of rape and sexual assault, so proceed with caution.) Opens Friday, March 2.

Chasing Great

Michelle Walshe and Justin Pemberton co-direct this documentary centered on rugby star Richie McCaw. Hits theaters Friday, March 2.
