I may be arriving fashionably late to the autumn tidying trend, but sorting out our garages has motivated me to tackle every corner and crevice of the #JungalowByTheRiver. Over the weekend, I finally addressed my jewelry collection, which had devolved into a tangled, chaotic heap. I repurposed an empty wall in my (quite compact) walk-in closet to craft a kind of jewelry gallery wall, and it fills me with joy! My pieces are so vivid and lovely—why stash them in an organizer or a box where they become jumbled?
What I adore most is the earring display. I created it by covering a small corkboard with muslin fabric, wrapping it like a present and stapling the material securely to the back. It works wonderfully because studs pierce directly into the board, while I can hang dangling or drop earrings from pushpins. This method keeps pairs together (I’m forever misplacing one!) and makes morning selection effortless since everything is neatly visible.
Now I just need another vacant wall in my closet to accommodate the rest of my accessories ;).
