OnePlus has launched an inquiry into complaints that buyers had their credit card credentials stolen following transactions on the smartphone brand's web store. The probe was set in motion after a community survey posted on OnePlus' message boards revealed a pattern of identical grievances from a large group of consumers. Within that survey, 174 people reported spotting unauthorized charges on their bank cards after completing a purchase through OnePlus. One individual who picked up a OnePlus 5T shared that his bank flagged suspicious activity when an attempt was made to charge $790 at Walmart without permission.
