Easter Basket Crafted from Rain Boots

SweeTARTS sponsored this post, but every opinion remains our own.

This Easter, I decided to skip the conventional basket and instead put together this incredibly simple DIY rain boot Easter basket!

Crafting an Easter Basket from Rain Boots

Not only was this basket quick to assemble, it also cost very little. I love that instead of giving children a basket they’ll use just once a year, I can offer them something they’ll reuse again and again.

I bought a set of rain boots on Amazon for $10 and added some Easter grass inside. If your kids have a favorite TV character or theme, Amazon carries many other rain boot options for children, though at a slightly higher price.

After that, it’s all about what you tuck inside the boots for an Easter morning surprise. Our household loves SweeTARTS, so we made sure to include the SweeTARTS Chicks, Ducks, and Bunnies Topper. These candies are not only Easter-themed but also fit perfectly inside the boots, and as a mom I approve because they contain no artificial flavors.

We typically include one large candy box for each child in the family, so this year we went with the SweeTARTS Jelly Beans Bunny Shaped Box. The second-best thing about this bunny-shaped container is that its packaging is so cute we didn’t need to dress it up at all to make the gift look charming.

The best part? SweeTARTS plus jelly beans. Can you imagine a more perfect candy combination?

To be honest, we had never tried SweeTARTS jelly beans before, and we were thoroughly impressed.

To put this together, I used two bags of Easter grass and packed them into the boots, making sure to leave just enough space to insert the SweeTARTS Chicks, Ducks, and Bunnies Toppers.

Then I opened one SweeTARTS Jelly Beans Bunny Shaped Box and sprinkled some of the jelly beans over the Easter grass inside the boot. I think I’ll even fill some Easter eggs with the jelly beans too!

This Easter DIY is extremely easy to replicate, and you can find the materials at most stores. However, I’ve linked the supplies below in case you prefer to order them online.
