Sweet Mixtures

Apple-orange filling: You will need 2 oranges, 4 large apples, 50 g of butter, half a cup of sugar. Cut the apples into slices and toss them into a hot frying pan, sprinkling all the sugar on top. Stir until the apples become tender, then cover with a lid. While the apples are stewing, chop the orange and immediately add it to the apples. Simmer everything together for about 7 minutes, and once it has cooled, stir in vanilla.

Chocolate fruit berry filling: You will need 200 g of chocolate, a glass of milk, 30-40 g of butter, and a glass of your preferred dried fruits or berries. Melt the chocolate in hot milk, then incorporate the butter and berries. Stir for 5 minutes, let it cool, and spread over pancakes.

Banana and creamy filling: we need 3 ripe bananas, 50 g butter, 3 tablespoons of sugar. Mash the banana into a puree, then transfer the fruit mixture to a heated pan—don't forget to add the butter! Add the sugar, stirring constantly (for a maximum of 5-6 minutes). The banana puree will thicken and turn a golden color. At the end, add vanilla to taste.

Savory Toppings

Fish canned + eggs: Any canned fish of your choice, 2-3 boiled eggs, fresh herbs (onion, dill), sour cream or mayonnaise. Dice the eggs finely or grate them, chop the herbs, and mash the canned fish with a fork. Season everything with the sauce and mix. That's it—an ultra-fast filling is ready!

Crab Sticks + Corn: prepare the stuffing following the same principle as a crab stick salad, but omit the rice. A fantastic stuffing is ready. Don't forget to add greens!

Chicken + Cheese: chicken fillet 250 g, hard cheese 150 g, 1 onion, a clove of garlic, 50 g sour cream. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, then fry or boil it; add the finely chopped onion and garlic, and season with salt. Stew everything together for about 5 minutes, then stir in the sour cream and simmer for another couple of minutes. Grate the cheese and add it at the very end. The filling is ready!

Lenten Vegetarian Fillings

Paneer + Spinach: You will need 300 g of any soft cheese (or homemade paneer), 500 g of frozen spinach, black mustard seeds (for a unique aroma and taste), and sunflower oil. First, fry the mustard seeds in oil, add the spinach, and wait until all the moisture has evaporated. At the very end, add the grated cheese and immediately remove from heat. You get a melted cheese effect! Delicious!

Green lentils + onions (reminiscent of minced meat in taste): You will need 1.5 cups of lentils, 1 onion, sunflower oil, and, if available, cumin (a spice similar to cumin but more refined, with a divine flavor). Put the lentils to boil (about 25 minutes); they should be well cooked.

  • Next, fry the cumin seeds, finely chopped onion, and garlic in oil. When the lentils are done—blend them into a mash using a blender or the traditional method, and add the prepared flavored mixture! Give it a try; you won't regret it.

Potatoes + cheese: The special feature of this filling is that we cook the potatoes in their skins and then grate them. This gives a distinct flavor to the dish. So, you need 3-4 potatoes, 200 g of hard cheese, and 100 g of your favorite greens. As you have already understood, boil the potatoes in their skins, then grate them on a medium grater along with the cheese. Add the chopped greens and mix everything.

  • This filling is perfect for baking pancakes because the cheese will melt and become even more delicious!

Enjoy your meal! Share the recipes with friends.
