Salma Hayek – 53 years old

Salma Hayek has confessed across multiple conversations that she fears premature aging and occasionally mulls over booking a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon, yet she always lands on the same conclusion: she will probably never commit to it. The reason? The actress is far more alarmed by what a scalpel might do to her features than by the arrival of fine lines.

"I'm not sure I could ever go through with plastic surgery. It's not on my radar at the moment. I'm simply not someone who takes chances with appearance. And in my view, the riskiest gamble of all is going under the knife," Salma Hayek shared during a People interview.

Regarding Botox, her stance is absolute: "I have zero faith in Botox, particularly when individuals get injections so young… Aestheticians keep telling young women: 'Start Botox early and you'll never develop wrinkles.' Absolutely not. Your face will lose its vitality. You'll need increasingly larger doses with each session. So if you're set on Botox, hold off for as long as you possibly can."

Sharon Stone – 61 years old

Well into her years, Sharon Stone still enjoys both a flawless physique and a remarkably youthful complexion. Time appears powerless against this actress's radiance. To preserve her looks, she leans entirely on fitness routines and balanced eating, and, unlike her Catwoman character, has no intention of preserving her twenties forever through harsh serums or scalpels. She sees no harm in light cosmetic work, provided it doesn't alter her features. But heading into surgery or scheduling filler appointments? Out of the question.

In conversation with the American publication NEW YOU, the Basic Instinct icon remarked: "I couldn't even count the physicians pushing facelifts and cosmetic work on me. I once almost let someone talk me into it. Yet when I stood up and examined my own photo, I wondered—what exactly are they planning to lift? Yes, I've hovered near going through with procedures, but honestly, I believe the craft of aging gracefully is incredibly attractive. Those tiny imperfections feel sensual. I realize people dread transformation; they assume aging strips something away. They fail to see what it adds. I assumed I'd lost the deep creases above my eyelids that youth brings. In exchange, my eyes have grown infinitely deeper. When I lost facial fullness, striking cheekbones emerged. Naturally, if there are things you wish to address, go ahead and address them. I harbor no issue with cosmetic procedures. They can be wonderful. What's not okay, in my opinion, is reshaping your face beyond recognition."

Julianne Moore – 58 years old

Throughout her film career, Julianne has avoided any surgical alterations, never received Botox, and skipped facelifts entirely, yet she remains perfectly comfortable baring skin for a lingerie label's ad campaign. The actress holds that graceful, unassisted aging is preferable, as she's convinced that surgery cannot genuinely boost how you feel about yourself.

"With rare exceptions, anyone who's had work done always appears as though they've had work done. They don't actually look younger. Age represents lived experience, the journey we travel."

Still, Julianne maintains that nobody should dictate what others choose to do. If someone wants fillers or cosmetic operations, that's their call to make.

"My motto is handle your own life and grant others the same freedom. So gossip about who's had what inserted or removed holds zero appeal for me. When somebody pushes the topic relentlessly, I feel like responding: 'That's both foolish and ridiculous.'"

Jennifer Aniston – 50th Anniversary

Jennifer Aniston experimented with Botox a single time, and according to the Friends star, the outcome was terrible. Aniston acknowledges that Hollywood exerts enormous pressure since the industry constantly seeks youthful performers. Yet she has no plans to revisit injectables or surgery.

"I've watched women fight the aging process obsessively, and I recognize the toll it takes. I'm thankful I've absorbed lessons from their missteps, because I'll never inject anything harmful into my face… I observe them, and my heart sinks. I catch myself thinking, 'Dear Lord, if only you realized how much older you appear,'" the actress revealed to Harper's Bazaar Australia.

Heidi Klum – 46 years old

The model, who has also built careers as an actress, producer, and writer of her own fashion venture for the streaming platform, has welcomed four children, yet motherhood never stirred any wish to "go under" or get "pumped up." The supermodel subscribes to the belief that consistent workouts, wholesome eating, and genuine self-acceptance are the real keys to preserving youth.

"Why would I visit a cosmetic surgeon? What could a procedure offer that I'm already missing? I feel like a creature on the verge of extinction, a relic. But I'd rather be that rare relic who still gets to furrow her brow."

Kate Winslet – 44

While the previously mentioned stars simply avoid cosmetic work without imposing that choice on others, Kate Winslet actively campaigns against surgical beauty modifications. She views the practice as ethically troubling and is prepared to push back. Alongside Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz, the Titanic lead established a British movement opposing cosmetic surgery. These actresses argue that the craze for procedures has become so damaging that genuinely natural-looking women may soon vanish altogether.

"It clashes with my values, contradicts how my parents raised me, and conflicts with my definition of authentic beauty. I'm a performer—I won't sacrifice my ability to emote or 'lock' my expressions in place," the actress told The Telegraph.

When Julia Roberts turned 40, journalists kept asking whether she dreaded aging. She was also questioned about her views on cosmetic procedures and fillers during that period. Her response at the time: "Never say never!" However, the Pretty Woman star also voiced her wish to preserve her looks without resorting to such interventions.

Now 52, the actress is genuinely grateful that she has never felt compelled to tweak her face or body. She stands firmly by the conviction that life's journey should be etched into her features, since even faint creases near her eyes signal that she's had plenty of occasions to grin.

"Your face ought to narrate your experiences, not chronicle your appointments with a surgeon."
